The Australian company, Atomos, has announced a new range of 15 signal converters and signal processors, named Atomos Connect. Atomos Connectwhich, for redundancy’s sake, connect, convert, scale, synchronize, split and repeat video signals.
All converters feature SDI, fiber and HDMI connections for SD, HD and 4K conversion. It also features DC locking, HDMI connectors and USB charging mode.
Designed with bright colors, each connector is associated with a connector for easy identification. In this way so that blue is associated with connection, red for conversions, yellow for scales, green for synchronization, black for division and white for repetition.
On the other hand, integrated LEDs allow us to see its status, and can be configured through the free ConnectOS software.
This line of HD converters will be available to users starting next October, while we will have to wait a little longer for the 4K converters, but only until the end of this year; prices range from $95 to $595, VAT not included.
