Atomos, developer of well-known recorders such as Shogun and Ninja, has released a new firmware update, Atomos 8.4, for its reference monitor series, Sumo 19 and Sumo 19M.
New features include:
Dynamic black control. And it has improved its performance by allowing you to adjust the backlight in each scene through the HDR slider.
In addition, this new version offers support for Panasonic’s Varicam output at 240 fps in 2K, as well as enhanced audio support for cameras.
