Atomos Shogun adds 4K DNxHR recording

Atomos recently announced a firmware update for its Shogun recorder that adds DNxHR codec recording, playback and editing in 4K.

Undoubtedly this has been the most prominent feature among Shogun users, as it allows integration with Avid projects in high resolution. And to demonstrate this, the company has prepared a 4K Show Reel:

With this new capability, Shogun is presented as a 4K recorder compatible with Avid, Adobe and Apple workflows, capable of capturing material directly from the sensor of Sony, Panasonic, Canon and Nikon cameras.
