Autel to launch its new EVO II drone range with 3 different models

Autel manufacturers presented at the last CES its new range of EVO II drones with 3 different models. We start with the first model EVO II that will be able to record in 8K, becoming the first foldable drone capable of recording at this resolution. The second model is the EVO II PRO which allows recording at 6K and finally the EVO II DUAL which allows recording images at 8K and thermal images.

Features to highlight of this series of drones is the battery and its locking system. The batteries allow up to 40 minutes of continuous flight and all 3 include the Autel Battlock system that prevents the detachment of the battery in some flights or hard landings. Another strong point of the EVO II is the 9 km signal range, which, although not always useful, can translate into a stronger and lossless signal in flights with interference or in situations with many obstacles.

Continuing with obstacles, the EVO II incorporates 12 sensors with dual-core processor and AI machine learning that allows omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. It presents two control modes in case it detects an obstacle, on the one hand it reduces the speed of the drone if it detects an obstacle at 30 meters to avoid a collision, or in more manual mode, with active radars, you can know the environment surrounding the drone and have full control of the drone with the controls.

The new models, which go on sale with a slight delay, are finally expected in March and cost $1495 for the EVO II, $1795 for the EVO II PRO and no price has been announced for the DUAL.
