AVID in collaboration with the company Aja Video Sistemhave developed a new hardware interface that facilitates online workflows, the new Avid Artist DNxIP.
It enables HD video transfer over the web, with high-quality local monitoring via 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0.
This is a clear example of AVID’s commitment to users, offering them the best tools and facilitating workflows between media professionals, in order to achieve greater optimization.
In the company’s words “this new Avid Artist DNxIP has been designed with the objective of enabling large recording and post-production studios to connect their studios via IP for greater flexibility and efficiency”.
Among the features of this device, it has an XLR input on the front. It also has Thunderbolt 3 technology that facilitates the input and output of video/audio information faster to IP networks. It also has two SFPs.
Built in an aluminum housing, it also supports SMPTE 2022-6 uncompressed video, audio and VANC data over IP.
