Blackmagic renews Studio Cameras

Blackmagic Design has released updates to its Studio Camera and Studio Camera 4K cameras, which are now priced lower.

One of the factors that influenced the price drop was the removal of the camera’s internal battery. Following feedback from its users, the company has decided to remove it because many of them use the camera connected to the network, and others were conditioned to travel by plane for this reason.

The two new versions are now available, and come with the features offered by the new ATEM Television Studio HD.
