Boris Continuum Complete 10

A few days ago Boris FX and Imagineer Systems announced that they will show the new versions of their main products, in this case Boris Continuum Complete (BCC) and mocha Pro, during the IBC in Amsterdam.

This collaboration between the two companies will allow to have mocha’s tracking and masking technology inside BCC, making version 10 one of the most important updates. In addition, Boris Continuum now has a set of plugins called Beauty Studio, with which we will be able to retouch skins directly from Avid or Adobe timelines.

BCC 10 includes a collection of more than 200 effects for visual effects with flares, glows, lights, keys and mattes, deformation, perspective and cinematic effects. New tools for 3D animation and titling, image restoration filters, more transitions and the ability to import models from Cinema 4D have been included in this update.

As far as mocha Pro 5 is concerned, it is worth mentioning that it will come with the possibility of launching it as a plugin for systems such as Media Composer or After Effects. It will also have a new effects panel that integrates keying, grain, sharpen and skin smoothing tools.
