Boris FX has released a version of its Boris Continuum Complete effects collection for Adobe CS6, version 8.0.2. It is called Boris Continuum Complete 8 AE, and it is the most complete VFX plugin suite that can be used in After Effects or Premiere Pro, both on Windows and Macintosh workstations. It includes more than 200 filters with 3D particle effects, image restoration and color correction tools, flares and lights, deformation and perspective effects, blurs, glows and many more.
All these plugins can be optimized using OpenGL hardware acceleration.
More than 1,000 professionally designed presets are included free of charge when you install BCC. All configurations you make can be saved and shared freely. You can also create collections of these configurations according to the needs of each project. All BCC presets, both animated and static, are supported in After Effects.
Boris Transfer
Thanks to Boris Transfer, all VFX can be easily moved between Adobe, Avid and Apple editing software, with parameter and keyframe information intact. Thus, BCC has become the only effects collection capable of easy migration between different systems.
Within Boris Transfer we can make two distinctions:
– Boris Transfer AE: allows you to transfer sequences from Avid or Final Cut Pro to After Effects.
– Boris Transfer FCP: gives you the possibility to transfer a sequence from Avid to Final Cut and vice versa.
Boris Continuum Complete 8 AE is available from Adobe CS4 to CS6.
In this page you can find all the available information with complete lists of the effects divided into 16 categories and here you can download the trial.
I also leave you a video with the presentation of the new and improved effects.
In addition, you can read more in these two articles we have already published, one about the Avid DS version of BCC and the other about the release of version 8.
