Red Giant has recently updated two of its latest products, BulletProof and Universe.
BulletProof 1.2
On the one hand we have version 1.2 of the BulletProof system, for backup, review, tagging and export of files on set.
It was originally intended specifically for DSLR cameras, but has gradually increased support for codecs and formats. MXF and AVCHD are now included.
There is also a new “Add Mode”, which uses a file reference to make one less copy and speed up the whole process.
Finally, integration with the PluralEyes synchronization system has been added, working with PluralEyes version 3.5(currently available as a free public beta).
This update has no additional costs for existing users and can be downloaded through this link for Windows or Mac. Also, if you haven’t tried BulletProof yet, here is their page to download the trial or purchase it for $199.
Universe 1.1
Red Giant has also updated its Universe platform, with 9 new effects between free and premium (paid) tools and 3 updates for existing products.
