After the birth of the Contraluz room, new possibilities were born with it. Among them, to be able to convene this very special course. It is a course where students will learn how are the real situations of the colorist profession with the appropriate equipment and the necessary personalized attention. And of course all the answers will be exemplified in a practical way with real materials from feature films, television series, advertising, etc.. And it will be the students who will carry out these exercises under the guidance of the colorist. For this course we will have the colorist Elena Humanes. It is important to note that, unlike other calls, this course is an intensive weekend edition.
From this course you will be able to generate a capacity of analysis to be able to evaluate an image and then be able to reproduce its style. At the same time, you will learn how to match cameras and lighting situations with professional materials. You will learn how to use DaVinci Resolve Studio on a high-end color station with color controller and you will be able to solve your doubts about the professional colorist’s job.
