Canon announces the new Canon Legria GX10

If yesterday we talked about four camcorders announced by Canon in the context of the IBC, today we are back with the same Japanese company and the announcement of the new Canon Legria GX10.

This is, in Canon’ s own words. “an essential 4K 50p video recording device for anyone who wants to make incredible recordings and strives to take their content to the next level.”

This camera incorporates a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system, combining a 1.0 CMOS sensor with a Dual DIGIC DV6 processor.

Regarding its lens, it has a 4K wide-angle lens with 15x zoom that ensures 4K resolution.

As we mentioned before, this is a device capable of recording at 4K 50p. It also has multiple recording options ranging from time-lapses to 0.25x slow motion effects.

The Canon Legria GX10 supports MP4 at 35Mbps for Full HD, or 150Mpbs for 4K 50p. And it features 5-axis image stabilization as well as wide dynamic range.

In terms of portability and usability, it has a vari-angle touch screen with an easy-to-use menu, wi-fi connection, SD card inputs, 3.5mm jack for audio input and headphone output.
