Canon announces the new DP-V2411

The Japanese company specializing in optical and image capture and reproduction products, Canon, has announced its new DP-V2411 reference monitor.

This is a 34-inch 4K LED monitor, intended for high dynamic range productions. It has 12G-SDI ports, which allows the emission of images at 4K 50p through a single cable.

With a luminance ranging from 600cd/m2 to 1000cd/m2, it is also capable of correcting brightness, thanks to the company’s own backlight control system.

This monitor supports numerous standards for more accurate color reproduction, including ITU-R BT.2020, ITU-R BT.709, EBU, SMPTE-C, as well as DCI-P3. In addition, it can display metadata from Canon Cinema EOS cameras as well as ARRI Camera Systems.

With respect to its design, made of resistant aluminum, as mentioned above, it has a size of 24 inches, IPS liquid crystal display, thickness of 105 mm and weight of 12kg.
