Canon C300 firmware update

Canon announced last Friday a firmware update for the EOS C300 and EOS C300 PL cameras.
The big new feature of this version, version 1.0.5.1.00, is that it allows inter-sync synchronization(Genlock), ensuring that multiple cameras remain synchronized while capturing simultaneously. This will be possible as long as they do so for 24p, 24PsF, 23.98p and 23.98Psf input signals.
In addition to the “Genlock”, thanks to this update the menus will be displayed in Korean.
The new firmware will be available later this month and can be downloaded here.
