Canon EOS R5, the new full-frame mirrorless camera

Canon continues to launch new and powerful products. If a month ago we knew the new EOS 1-D Mark III, today it is the turn of the new mirrorless EOS R5. With the new EOS R5, Canon has done it again and surprises us with a“refined designand built for excellence“.

The new full-frame mirrorless camera offers users new creative possibilities thanks to the high image resolution that 8K can offer. Canon thus launches its DSLR capable of recording images in 8K, thus covering all audiovisual genres and formats, including cinema.

At the moment the information on this release is not complete, although with the information we have it seems that we are facing a new standard in the mirrorless line of DSLRs going from 4K to 8K. A giant leap forward and a new challenge in this type of camera.

Apart from the resolution, which is already a big headline in itself, Canon has also advanced the new in-camera stabilization system. For the first time, a Canon camera offers a built-in stabilization system that will result in sharp, smooth, shake-free images. This system is even more powerful with Canon’ s new RF lenses that include IS.

Another of the jewels that incorporates the new EOS R5, is its new shutter, capable of offering 12 frames per second mechanically, and rise to 20 in electronic mode. It also has wi-fi connection to work with images at any time and offers connection to image.canon, Canon’s new service.

Among the RF lenses that we were talking about, Canon has launched the new RF 24-105 mm f 4an all-rounder lens that offers focal lengths from wide-angle to telephoto. In this lens, we find the Nano USM autofocus system, which offers speed in photography and fluidity and smoothness in video. It also features the 5-stop image stabilization system that helps achieve sharper images even in low-light situations.

Throughout this week we will be sharing more Canon news with you.
