Cinemartin launches Cinec version 3.0

Cinec 3.0, the latest update of this file encoding and conversion system for Windows operating systems, is now available.

Cinemartin has worked in collaboration with Convergent Design, other manufacturers and professional users for the development of the new version, which focuses especially on Cinema DNG files and RAW formats.

Among the major new features are support for Blackmagic Design cameras, including the Pocket Cinema Camera, as well as Convergent Design’s Odyssey recorder and Sony FS100, FS700, F5 and F55 cameras. Users who work on these types of recordings will benefit the most from the update, although Cinec does not leave behind those who use Panasonic, Canon, JVC or Nikon.

Cinec 3.0

Cinec 3.0 also comes with enhancements for HEVC, adding 3 export presets and more options for H.265 encoding.

The RAW conversion window has been redesigned to make it easier to load these images and adjust certain parameters such as saturation, exposure, white balance, color spaces, gamma curves, etc.

All these settings can be saved as a custom preset, so that when ingesting new clips the previously saved changes can be applied without the need to reconfigure everything.

Another new feature is in the display monitor, with up to 4 windows in which different settings can be made to compare versions.

Once we have everything to our liking, simply click the convert button to return to the main window and process the files with output presets in Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD, H.264 and other codecs.

On this page you have all the information about Cinec and you can download the trial version or purchase it for a price of 199€ (the Cinec Pro 3.0 version).
