Cinematography goes beyond the mere technicality of placing lights and exposing the camera’s CCD. It is a discipline that turns light into cinematographic language, but which languages?
This course will show different lighting styles in order to give the cinematographer a range of tools with which to deal artistically with various situations and projects: from an exterior night to an interview, through a “dirty” or theatrical photography. In a totally practical way, different exercises will be carried out, including the recreation of scenes from different films.
