Cinnafilm, developers of GPU-based technology for post production, have announced Dark Energy as an After Effects plug-in.
Dark Energy is a system that serves both to eliminate image noise and to simulate it, imitating certain cinematographic looks. The company claims that this plug-in is capable of completely eliminating noise from cameras such as DSLRs, or making images from DSLRs and 35mm film look almost the same.
It can process images up to 1920×1080.
It is available for After Effects (later it will be released for other systems as well) with an introductory price of $299. From July 4 it will be available for $399.
