DE:Flicker opens to more systems

RE:Vision Effects has released two new versions of its DE:Flicker plug-in, which serves as its name suggests to reduce flicker and artifacts in high-speed footage and timelapses.

DE:Flicker is now compatible with several other compositing and VFX systems. One of these versions works with Nuke, Fusion, Scratch and Nucoda. The other is ready to run on Sony Vegas Pro, HitFilm and Natron.

GPU acceleration is supported on Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8, as well as on 64-bit Windows 7 and 8. On others such as Mac OS 10.6 or Windows Vista, the software will run in CPU mode.

In order to achieve this acceleration it is necessary that the graphics cards are 1GB (they are the officially supported, although according to the company the 500 MB ones can work) and support OpenCL 1.1. In addition, Intel HD Graphics are allowed in Mac OS 10.9. In this link you can see all the GPU requirements.
