Dell introduces the Canvas 27

One more day we continue with the CES 2017 presentations, this time to show you the Canvas 27, designed by Dell in collaboration with companies like Avid.

It is a digital canvas that is the world’s first intelligent workspace designed to work horizontally. Many are comparing it to Microsoft’s Surface Studio, although the main difference between them is that the Canvas 27 is not presented as a computer, but as a complement aimed at designers and creatives.

It has a 27-inch QHD display with 2K resolution where we can use the stylus, touch functions or the totem to interact with our computer screen. If necessary, the Canvas can be tilted slightly instead of keeping it completely horizontal.

The Totem is a circular device that allows us to change colors, stroke size, undo or redo with a simple touch while continuing to draw.

In addition, Dell has worked in collaboration with several companies to bring the Canvas window into the tools of professional systems such as those from Avid, Adobe, Autodesk, Dassault Systems and Solid Works, using their software.

The Canvas 27 will be available starting March 30 for a base price of $1,799.
