Digital Film Tools releases Film Stocks 3.0

The company DFTDigital Film Tools has released version 3.0 of its Film Stocks plug-in. This tool is intended for the quick creation of film-like looks.

This new version of Film Stock includes an updated interface with different parameters for user modification of contrast, brightness and saturation.

Among the new features available in this new version are:

• 329 presets of analog photographic film.
• A choice of Agfa, Fuji, Ilford, Kodak, Polaroid and Rollei colors and black and white film.
• Allows you to add vignetting to any preset.
• Modify the image with presets or sliders.
• Quick preset search.
• 32-bit image processing.
• Multiprocessor acceleration.
• Acceleration GU.
• Creation of your own film presets.
• 89 color grading presets from movies such as 2001 Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner, Back to the Future, Gone with the Wind, etc.

The video version of this plug in is compatible with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Apple Motion 4, Avid Media Composer, Assimilate Scratch, Blackmagic Design Da Vinci Resolve, Sony Catalyst, Foundry Nuke and Vegas Pro. And it is available to users for $95.

While the photo version can be purchased for about $50 and is compatible with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Lightroom.

Film Stock also offers a free 15-day trial version, which you can download from the company’s official website.
