CourseDIT(II)-Alexa

We are extending the deadline to qualify for the early booking discount on our digital film camera and DIT course. This discount is applicable to the complete course as well as to the independent modules.

In this course the director of photography specialist in digital cinema Rafa Roche shows how to work with the most used cameras nowadays in cinematography: Sony F65 and F55, Red Epic and Arri Alexa. We will also have smaller cameras such as the Canon 7D or Sony F3 that are suitable for simpler jobs. The course has a previous theoretical base given by Roche and then move on to four days of intensive work with the cameras.

Luis Ochoa will be in charge of the post-production part. Luis will first give some theoretical concepts to the students that will help them understand certain camera processes related to color correction and then focus for two days on the use of the DaVinci Resolve color grading tool. After these two days the students will have a solid knowledge of this tool.

Between the camera module and the post-production module, the DIT module will take place. In this module, consisting of two intensive days, Daniel Perez, an expert in DIT processes and calibration, will show how to set up a DIT station according to the project, the programs used (with special emphasis on Scratch Lab) and all the tools used in film and advertising productions. Daniel Perez is part of the company Whyonset, which has been present in the shooting of “Los amantes pasajeros” among other productions.

The course is therefore made up of four modules, and the student can take the complete course or only the modules that interest him/her:

MODULE 1: CAMERA THEORY AND POSTPRODUCTION (2 days, 16 hours)

MODULE 2 : HD CAMERA OPERATION AND DIGITAL CINEMA (4 days, 32 hours)
