Sepia filters are basically a black and white with a reddish tint and are often used for a past time.
Today you can download this LUT “Sepia”, designed on Rec. 709 material and specially recommended if you want to give a style to your flashbacks. It doesn’t have any light or contrast adjustment, so it will work on any kind of material, but if you work in logarithmic you will have to make a basic correction and apply the LUT afterwards.
