Do you want this PowerGrade “Schindler”?

Surely you have seen the famous movie“Schindler’s List“, or at least you are familiar with its well-known sequence of the girl in the red coat. Well, this week we are going to pay a little tribute to her by sharing with you a DaVinci Resolve PowerGrade that simulates the same effect.

The first thing you should bear in mind is that it is absolutely necessary to have red tones in the image for the effect to work, and the more they stand out from the rest of the objects the better. In addition, this correction has been made on a logarithmic image, so you will have to adjust the contrast of your image first if it is in Rec. 709.

To download it you have to be a member of the “LUTs Exchange” group, inside Red 709(here you can access directly), where you can also share your LUTs, styles, effects, etc. And in this post you have the explanation on how to import (and export) PowerGrades from DaVinci.
