One of the functions that can be found in the RED Epic camera is HDRx recording. This capability allows us to take full advantage of the 18 stops of dynamic range to control the level of exposure in critical situations where we have a part with a lot of light and another area of the image with darkness.
The clip I have posted today in the section of Downloads is recorded in RAW (.R3D) and with a resolution of 5120 x 2700 at 25fps. In addition to the HDRx, you will see how Rafa Roche makes several movements close to the camera with the intention of demonstrating one of the factors that generate problems when recording with HDR so you can try at home how to solve them.
