The Sony F3 is the little sister of the F5 and, although it also belongs to the CineAlta line, it predates it and is a bit more limited. It has a Super 35 CMOS sensor and comes with three Sony lenses (35mm, 50mm and 85mm), along with a PL mount adapter.
In addition to XDCAM recording, it offers HD-SDI 4:2:2 and 10-bit uncompressed RGB output for use with external recorders; all with resolutions up to Full HD and the ability to use the S-Log gamma curve.
In the Downloads 709 you will find the F3 link to download 6 clips in XDCAM 35. They are some tests with different settings and diaphragms made by Rafa Roche and Jesús Haro during a course at Ecam.
They are recorded in S-Log on a chroma background, so they will be useful both for your format tests and for practicing green extraction if needed.
