Today, through our section 709 Downloadssection, you can download three clips from the Sony F65 camera.
The F65 belongs to Sony’s CineAlta 4K range and features a 20 megapixel Super 35mm CMOS (8K) sensor. It is capable of recording up to 120fps in HD, 2K or even 4K resolutions. If we use the SR-R4 portable recorder attached to the camera, we can capture in 16-bit RAW directly to an SRMemory card, taking full advantage of its 14 stops of dynamic range.
These clips were recorded during our Digital Cinema Camera Course, taught by Rafa Roche, using an Ovide camera. These are some exposure tests, starting from a base diaphragm 4 ½ and going down or up 5 points from there.
The three clips are in RAW (S-Gamut3, SLog3), recorded at 3200ºK and 800 ISO. If you want to adjust the characteristics of your project to the clips, you should set a 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) and 25fps.
