MTI Film has released version 2.3 of its DRS Nova digital restoration software, adding the offset tracking function for stabilized objects. Thanks to this tool it is possible to track objects even when the track points are out of frame.
In addition, MTI Film has announced that they will soon include this same feature within the software’s Dewarp tools .
Other new features of the update include:
- A mouse magnifier, for easy panning and zooming in the frame.
- Adirt mapgenerator that derives data from a film scanner alpha channel.
- New presets for stabilization and dewarp tasks.
- Faster import of large files.
- Easier management for OpenEXR files.
DRS Nova is priced at $995 for a 30-day license, or $12,500 for a permanent license. You can also try it for free for two weeks through this link.
