EIZO launches monitor focused on digital media

EIZO is back on the market and this time it is launching a new monitor aimed at a more amateur audience and for graphic purposes. The main feature of the new EIZO ColorEdge CS2410 monitor is that it can be calibrated by hardward, so you don’t need to be an expert to tune the monitor.

The CS2410 monitor belongs to the ColorEdge range of EIZO, designed for professionals who are dedicated to the world of photography, design, web creation and in general to all graphic media that need high quality images. The fact that it is primarily intended for this type of audience is because it covers more than 100% of the sRGB color space.

The software used to calibrate the monitor is ColorNavigator 7, which combines the potential of version 6 and NX and improves the calibration system through the monitor’s LUT for greater accuracy and graduation, which is second to none in calibration software. The monitor’s gamma level is factory set to RGB values from 0 to 255, which compared to the 16-bit LUT provides the most appropriate tones.

To further simplify this calibration process, which can become very cumbersome, EIZO makes Quick Color Match available to the user. What Quick Color Match does is to assist in the task of matching the settings of both the software, printer and monitor. This way, you can select the workflow without having to worry about the devices being set for the same workflow.

The EIZO CS2410 monitor comes with integrated digital uniformity equalization technology to avoid brightness and chromaticity fluctuations on the screen. It also features an IPS panel to avoid reflections.

The 24.1-inch monitor has an HDMI input capable of converting the signal from interlaced to progressive for flicker-free display. In addition to the HDMI input, it also has DisplayPort, DVI-D, USB Type-B and 2 USB Type-A inputs.
