EIZO now has a release date for its new monitor ColorEdge CS2740which we already announced a few months ago. It is expected to arrive in Spain in May this year and is intended primarily for people who are engaged in professional or amateur photography. Video and post-production professionals are also users who may be interested in the CS2740 model and who have more modest budgets.
With the ColorEdge CS2740, users can work with crystal-clear images thanks to the 27-inch 4K resolution display, the first model in the CS range to offer 3840 x 2160 resolution. Having a 4K resolution can be a great advantage for users who only have a monitor for work and monitoring, as they can view HD content while working in their post-production software. Its high pixel density also makes the result even better compared to a Full HD monitor, which typically have 96dpi.
Another great advantage of the CS2740 is its color management. This process is carried out through ColorNavigator 7 software, the ColorEdge program par excellence for calibrating and controlling the quality of its monitors. ColorNavigator version 7 offers the result of the comparison between the calibration performed by the hardware through the LUT, with the one obtained from the software to obtain the best and most accurate result.
The color space in which the new EIZO monitor works is sRGB, although practically all CMYK printing spaces are also included. In it we can get more than a billion colors to be able to have a 10-bit signal via HDMI or DisplayPort.
The EIZO ColorEdge CS2740 is scheduled to arrive in Spain in May of this year.
