apollo

Dual-4K recording

It is now possible to capture two 4K DCI (4096 x 2160) or UHD (3840 x 2160) signals simultaneously, with speeds up to 30p.

It will only be available for Apollo and Odyssey7Q and 7Q+ monitors/recorders with the Apollo option.

Quad-HD recording

This function allows simultaneous monitoring and recording of four 1080p video signals up to 60fps.

If the Apollo option is not available, it is possible to monitor but not record in Quad-HD mode.

4K 60p recording

4K 60p recording of ProRes files (4K DCI or UHD) works without the Apollo option. Compatible cameras include the Sony F55 and Panasonic VariCam 35.

6G-SDI

Also new is 6G-SDI support on the Apollo and Odyssey 7Q+ recorders, included specifically for recording 4K 30p footage from Blackmagic cameras such as the Ursa, Ursa Mini and Micro Studio Camera 4K.
