Foley is the name given to the studio reproduction of many of the everyday sounds that appear in any film. Foley artists use different techniques and tools to recreate a wide range of natural sounds without leaving the post-production room. After their creation, these sounds must be edited in order to be invisibly integrated with the rest of the sounds and music that make up the soundtrack of the film.
In this foley editing course we will study all the parts that make up the foley editing process. From the distribution of the work in different positions to the final output of the reels, paying special interest to the useful tools for this edition of the Pro Tools 10 software. Taking as examples and practices some of the Hollywood productions carried out by the teacher of the course.
