Autodesk has released five free 3D effects templates in order to provide its users with an introduction to working with animated 3D elements, textures, reflections and 3D lighting for motion graphics creation.
They have been created by expert Brian Mulligan for Autodesk Smoke 2013 Extension 1 and are available on AREA, as well as video tutorials for each one that will show you how to work with and customize each template.
To enjoy these effects you only have to download the file corresponding to the template and adjust it to suit your project. Here is the introduction video:
There are also extensive tutorials on how the five templates work, but to see them you will have to navigate Red709 to the “Written Tutorials” section under the editing and post production category.
