Fusion Studio 7.7, the latest version of this VFX software for 3D, compositing and motion graphics that belongs to Blackmagic Design since September last year, is now available.
This update brings mainly improvements in the overall system performance and the installer for node rendering. Work has been done on certain features to improve the management of Generation studio, network processing, optical flow and stereoscopic 3D tools.
Since acquired by Blackmagic, there is Fusion 7, which is free, and Fusion 7 Studio, which is priced at $995. The full system includes all the existing motion graphics compositing and animation tools in the free version, but also adds some advantages. The main differences lie in these limitations of Fusion:
- Limits output to Ultra HD.
- It does not include Generation studio management for task assignment, asset tracking and blueprint versioning.
- It does not include the Avid Connect plug-in for using Fusion from the Avid timeline.
