FXHome releases Hitfilm Pro update

FXHome has released a new and improved update of its HitFilm post-production software.

In the company’s words, “this new version has not only focused on achieving better quality in video formats, but also on continuing to support codecs such as MP4.”

Its animation capabilities have also been improved, making editing easier, as has the text tool, which has been given new effects such as rotation, bevel, etc. and is now available in the editing timeline.

Improvements have been included in audio synchronization, limiters, as well as an improved mixer. In addition, this software allows the import of 3D formats such as LightWave and WaveFront targets, and Filmbox files.

Support for OFX plugins has been maintained, AND it still allows importing 3D tracking from both Boujou and SynthEyes.

With regard to color grading, it has a catalog of presets, as well as cinematic effects and tools specially dedicated to color grading.

Finally, another of the elements included in this update is that it now has a specific viewer for 360 content, as well as new effects in Ignite Pro for the same. It also includes a suite of keying effects such as chroma key, among others.
