GenArts releases Sapphire version 10

A few days ago the company GenArts released a new version of its collection of plugins for visual effects: Sapphire 10.

These are the new features:

• Improvements in the “Builder”: the possibilities for creating custom effects in the “Builder” tool have been extended. Multiple source clips can now be used with a matte from a path or from an alpha channel. There is also a new function for adjusting the grid that allows you to easily arrange complex node structures.

• New presets: some 150 additional effects have been added, including 60 for the “Builder”.

• Improved preset browser

• S_Moon effect: has a high resolution generator to accurately represent lunar cycles. It has several options such as halo, brightness, color or atmosphere.

• S_Brush effect: create “hand-painted” brush images from any image or graphic. It is possible to use different tools such as oil, chalk, sponge or pencil.

• S_RomanTile effect: forms a textured mosaic of tiles.

Sapphire 10 is now available for Adobe, Avid, Flame and other OFX-compatible systems.
