Heroglyph V4 Pro

proDAD, a company known for developing video effects and various image enhancement technologies, has announced version 4 of its Heroglyph software.
Heroglyph V4 Pro is a solution that allows you to generate animated titles and images quickly and easily. Usually, this type of process requires the use of keyframes and, depending on the type of animations, can be quite complex. proDAD has worked on this update to solve this problem and bring animations to a larger number of users.
This software works through Windows-based non-linear editing (NLE) systems, but can also be used as a completely stand-alone application. This option makes it possible for those working with other editors that are not supported to also have access to Heroglyph.

To reduce the complexity in the generation of effects, more than 500 templates (FastStart) and other elements common to all projects have been included to cover the needs that may arise in all types of productions, such as documentaries, news broadcasts or even in large fiction productions.
One of its advantages is the ability to make changes instantly, even while rendering; the title and background can be adjusted on the fly without the need to re-render everything. In addition, it is possible to preview in real time (1:1) without having to render to see the changes.
One of the tools that has been improved is the one that “auto-generates” titles that simulate handwriting. To use it and create this effect, simply enter the text and choose a font.
The function to create a “Travel Rout” animation has also been greatly simplified. After inserting a map, all parameters are modified with a simple “click” in order to draw the route. In addition, many options for changing the time or inserting effects have been added.
The possibilities for “Slideshows” have been completely redesigned, with insertion of titles, subtitles and new effects.
It supports 32-bit or 64-bit for seamless integration with editing systems from companies such as Avid, Adobe or Grass Valley, and is optimized to work with multi-core or multi-threaded CPUs.
Heroglyph V4 Pro is currently available as a download from the proDAD online store or distributors such as ToolFarm. It is also available from Amazon.com. Its introductory price is $279, and customers with earlier versions can upgrade for $149.
