HitFilm 3 Pro

FXHOME recently introduced HitFilm 3 Pro, the latest version of its video editing and visual effects system.
HitFilm 3 Pro combines editing tools with 3D compositing and 3D object rendering tools, plus a particle simulator and color correction functions, all in a single software package.
The new version brings a redesigned interface and editor that allows you to switch between multiple 3D composition timelines very easily, simply by switching between browser tabs. In addition, the following new features are now included:
- 3D textures for particles
- Masks with auto-tracking
- Fractal 3D particle shapes
- Background proxies for complex effects
- OpenFX support
- 20 new effects
- A 16-bit OpenEXR working line
In total, the complete system comes with 180 customizable effects and 130 plug-ins that can be used in Sony Vegas (where a HitFilm project can be rendered directly), After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X and Motion.
One of its main qualities is that it includes Imagineer Systems‘ “planar tracking” technology for mask tracking and 3D cameras. It also has GPU acceleration.
HitFilm 3 Pro is available now and is priced at $299. Each license contains three separate activations and includes a plug-in package. If you already have a previous version you can upgrade for $199. It is also possible to download the free trial via this link.
