Irix Launches the Dragonfly 45mm F1.4 GFX Lens for Medium Format

Irix continues to bet on quality and good prices in the world of medium format photography, and for this, the brand has presented its latest addition, the Irix Dragonfly 45mm F1.4 GFX lens. This lens is primarily designed to support the Fujifilm GFX medium format.

In its presentation, the Irix Dragonfly 45mm F1.4 GFX enters the market with the intention of being the fastest lens for medium format. Irix has opted for this wide-angle lens to nod to that traditional photography that used to exist with medium format cameras. It features a G-type mount, which, when used with this type of sensor, results in very shallow depths of field, but great smoothness in focus transition and a wide dynamic range.
