iToo Software RailClone 3.2 Now Available

Thanks to the latest version, RailClone 3.2 , you can now use beveled corners with adaptive and counting mode, synchronize random values between generators, use subscale counting in expressions, apply modifiers to nested RailClone objects or fill supermarkets with a new shelf.

RailClone 3.2 adds support for V-Ray Next, so you can take advantage of the potential of Chaos Group’s latest and greatest renderer. Enjoy speed improvements of up to 25%, use the new GPU architecture with the promise of doubling the speed of your GPU rendering, take advantage of the new adaptive dom light and much more. In turn, the recently released Corona 2.0 is also compatible with RailClone 3.2 so you can take advantage of its fabulous new bokeh controls, disperse CoronaVolumeGrid objects and take advantage of its many performance enhancements. RailClone is also compatible with Datasmith, Mental Ray and Thea, in addition to almost any renderer.

For the first time, RailClone now also supports Arnold, Autodesk’s replacement for Mental Ray that was first included with Max 2018. Arnold not only supports instance creation with RailClone and most of the core features, it also supports RailClone Color, a new type map introduced in version 3 that allows you to randomize and tint bitmaps by segment, or even colors on a surface. Harmonized input names
Creating models with RailClone is simple when you understand the underlying principles. Internally, the A2S (two-dimensional) matrix generator is computed by stacking multiple L1S (one-dimensional) matrices on top of each other: to form rows.

To help artists understand the connection between the two generators, the A2S generator entries have been renamed. As of this release, the Left entries of the A2S generator are renamed to Start, and the Right entries are renamed End.

Library updates
This release includes the addition of a new library containing food products that can be used to quickly populate store and supermarket shelves. RailClone now includes a growing library of nearly 400 styles in 30 categories, with more planned for release soon!
In addition, we have included several new Macros that you can use to create your own similar styles quickly and easily.
