It’s official: no editor needed for video editing

Magisco, a company that offers online video editing has just released a public beta of its automatic editing software. Apparently the program is able to take raw footage and compose a sequence with it without human help. the intention of the software is to improve the quality of videos on social networks like youtube, facebook, etc.

The user simply chooses the camera clips (maximum 16 or 600MB), selects a title and music and hits the magic button. Using advanced image recognition technology the software will compose a sequence ready to be shared.

Who knows, the way things are going with the crisis, maybe the production companies will buy it to save the publishers 🙂
