JVC 4K Handheld Camera

JVC presented at the last IBC a 4K resolution handheld camera. It seems that the formula “big donkey whether it walks or not” continues to be the paradigm of camera manufacturers (with the exception, fortunately, of Arri Alexa, which is “only” HD but with REALLY cinematic features).

CMOS 4K sensor and AVCHD codec recording with 144Mb/s transfer rate on SD cards. It is clear that for camera manufacturers, (frame) size does matter.
