JVC has just updated its line of ProHD monitors with six new models, including the three DT-X92s, which would replace the current DT-X91s.
The smallest
Topping the list of these DT-X92s is the DT-X92HX2 monitor, which features two 9-inch IPS LCD panels and a 1920 x 1200 resolution, improving on the previous generation, which was only 1280 x 800. It is priced at $2,950.
These are its main characteristics:
- Contrast ratio 800:1
- 170-degree viewing angle
- Audio measurement
- Scale markers
- SDI time code
- Display of user-edited titles
- Zebra
- Freeze frame (frozen)
- Display R/G/B/B only
Among its connections we will find SDI (3G, HD and SD), HDMI and composite.
Its two smaller brothers have a single 9-inch monitor and very similar qualities. On the one hand would be the DT-X92H, for $1,650, and the DT-X92F, with a slightly higher price ($1,950) because it adds options to put waveform, RGB histogram or vectorscope on screen.
The largest
In addition, the company has released three other 1920 x 1080 LCDs with larger sizes:
All three have HDMI, composite and dual 3G-SDI inputs, as well as 3.5mm audio output and 3G-SDI and HDMI loop outputs.
Both the large and small models are battery-operated or mains-operated. They are scheduled for release later this month.
