LG introduces three new monitors

LG has decided to present its three new monitors in Las Vegas for CES 2018. However, it is still too early to define prices and release dates for them. Special attention has been paid to the one that is considered to be the first to go on sale: the 32UK950. A 32-inch 4K UHD monitor.

The main novelty of these monitors is the Nano IPS technology which, according to the company, its nano-particles have the ability to absorb the excess wavelength of light, as well as the intensity and purity of the colors on the screen. Specifically, it will be able to display 98% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It in turn includes Thunderbolt 3, which supports serial 4K daisy-chaining, enabling a dual 4K monitor setup. A single cable transmits 4K AV. On the other hand it also includes HDR 600 providing a high dynamic range of peak brightness of 600cd / ㎡.

In terms of design, it features an Edge-ArcLine base and a “borderless” design where the image appears to fall off the sides.

In turn, another of the models that LG has presented is the 34WK95U, which offers both Nano IPS technology and thunderbolt 3. It is a 34-inch UltraWide 21: 9 model equipped with a 5K resolution (5120 x 2160 pixels). Finally, there will also be a QHD gaming monitor (model 34GK950G) with the same Nano IPS technology along with high-speed G-Sync technology.
