Pomfort has released a new version of LiveGrade Pro, its color and look management system for the film set.
In addition to being able to work with formats such as ASC-CDL, Alexa Looks, 3D LUTs or ICC profiles (among others), LiveGrade Pro can be combined with some devices to bring the desired signal to multiple cameras or monitors. Blackmagic’s HDLink and Pandora Pluto are joined by Fujifilm ‘s IS-Mini. Fujifilm IS-Miniwhich is supported from this version onwards.
IS-Mini is a small device that allows you to adjust the color of a camera or monitor so that both the camera preview and the recording match what you have set up in the color management system.
The possibilities it offers could be very interesting for DITs, since it is also possible to connect several IS-Mini to different cameras and manage the sending of LUTs from LiveGrade PRO, so that all of them and the monitor we use will be equal.
If you have access to one of these devices you can test it with LiveGrade PRO by requesting a trial license or buying it for 779€, all through this link.
And if you want to learn more about the functions of ITLs and how to develop them, I recommend that you take a look at our course organized in December.
