In this edition, attendees saw demonstrations of the latest versions of Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya and solutions for backup and archiving of material. In addition Tangram showed the latest news from Panasonic and the expected Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
You can read a detailed description of the event in Panorama Audiovisual magazine .
Luis Ochoa showed some of the possible uses of DaVinci Resolve using materials from the series “Tierra de Lobos” in which he took part as a colorist in HD Studio post production. DaVinci Resolve is a flexible and powerful tool for both on-set dailies generation and on-set grading. Easy to integrate with editing software thanks to XML, EDL and AAF protocols that make conforms simple, DaVinci is now one of the strongest standards in the competitive industry of professional color grading software.
If you are interested in learning this program Luis Ochoa will be our teacher in the DaVinci course this weekend. And if you already know it a little and want to go deeper into color correction techniques you can take a look at our advanced course.
