Maxon and Red Giant announce January partnership

It seems that two of the biggest post-production companies, Maxon and Red Giant, will join forces from January 2020. If the other day Red Giant announced its annual subscription, today we hear this great news for lovers of content creation.

It seems that two of the leading 3D creation and visual effects companies are joining forces to provide more powerful solutions and facilitate the work of their users. The Nemetschek Group has orchestrated this merger by choosing Maxon for 3D content creation on the one hand and Red Giant on the other, a platform with infinite tools for audiovisual creation, from effects, color grading or tracking, among many others. It makes sense to unite these two companies that have contributed so much to their communities and always strive to improve on a daily basis.

Maxon has recently improved its rendering system for 3D Cinema 4D with the implementation of Redshift. Redshift developed a GPU-accelerated engine to reduce rendering times when working with large files and complex compositions.

From Red Giant there are many tools that will bring significant improvements in 3D works. Among them are the suites of Trapcode, Universe, Magic Bullet, Shooter

Another feature that unites these two great companies is their interest in making these powerful tools available to everyone in a more economical way. While last month Red Giant launched its full version with annual subscriptions for students and professionals, Maxon also launched Cinema 4D R21 to bring 3D to more users at a lower price.
