Noise Industries ‘ new plug-in is called Moods and comes with its own interface for color correction on Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Motion.
This is a video presentation of the plugin:
Moods includes several presets with preset corrections that can be used to give the material a certain look or as a starting point for more personalized creations.
There are two possible working modes: “Punchy” and “Classic”. With the latter it is possible to modify the chrominance without affecting the luminance.
Its six spheres allow us to make adjustments to contrast, exposure, saturation and color. The “Help Card” function indicates, through a drop-down menu, the usefulness of each of these spheres and how to operate them.
In addition, there are also other parameters that can be modified depending on the function we are working with.
Moods adapts to the quality of the project and can work from 8 to 16 bit on the following systems:
– Mac OS X Lion 10.7 or Mountain Lion 10.8
– Premiere Pro CS6
– After Effects CS5, CS5.5 and CS6
– Final Cut Pro 7 and 10
– Motion 4 and 5
Here are two tutorials, the first one on Premiere Pro and the second one on Final Cut Pro X.
Moods is priced at $99 (77’5€) and can be purchased from the Yanobox website, its developer, or from the Noise Industries online store. As always, after downloading FxFactory you can find the free trial version (although you can also download it from this link).
In this page you have all its features and here you can see how to start using it in any of the available software.
