MTI introduces Cortex Capture

As we had already announced a few weeks ago, MTI Film has presented at NAB its new tool for media management on set: Cortex Capture. This system provides the necessary functions for DITs or digitizers to operate on set.

It can playback in a lot of native formats, including Sony F65 and SR Master, RED, ARRIRAW, DNxHD and ProRes. It also includes color tools to be able to define a look and apply it to the imported images. These corrections can be exported as Stills, ASC CDLs or LUTs.

As for media management, you can add comments (to a frame or to the whole clip), create templates with color or audio and “burn” them for the creation of dailies or even to take them directly to postproduction.

All metadata created in Cortex Capture can be exported and shared with other Cortex products, such as Convey or Control Dailies.
