New AJA KUMO 1616-12G now available

AJA Video Systems announces the availability of its new KUMO 1616-12G, which features up to 16 12G-SDI inputs and 16 12G-SDI outputs. This ultra-compact SDI matrix supports high frame rate and high color depth over SDI, with resolutions up to 4K and 8K. Designed to work under the pressures of broadcast, production and ProAV where size and capacity are crucial, the Kumo 1616-12G mirrors the compact physical form factor of AJA’s Kumo 1616 matrix and offers network and/or physical based control.

Multiport group routing supports resolutions up to 8K, and a USB port facilitates matrix IP address configuration via AJA’s free eMini-Setup software.

The KUMO 1616-12G has the following features:

• 16 12G-SDI inputs and 16 12G-SDI outputs with support for up to 4K/UltraHD at 60p over a single cable.
