Asus has announced the launch of its new Asus ProArt PQ22UC monitor, equipped with 4K OLED as well as HDR support. This monitor has been presented as a novelty, as well as other companies, at CES 2018.
Asus ProArt PQ22UC Features
We are faced with a monitor of 21’6 inches and 204ppi. According to Asus, the OLED monitor presents a high color saturation reaching 99% DCI-P3 coverage and color accuracy. It is a 10-bit RGB OLED panel, which produces primary tones natively instead of filtering white light.
At the same time, the monitor is equipped with USB-C and micro HDMI ports. It also has an angled stand that is detachable, allowing for portability and adaptability as needed. The stand detaches and twists to slide easily into the included case along with the display and its charging adapter. However, it will not be available until spring. Therefore, more details about it will not be known until closer to its release date. The product already appears on its website with some images but without adding more technical specifications.
It should be noted that this monitor is produced by JOLED, a joint venture between Japan Display, Sony, and Panasonic.
